Alvin Toffler said that the most of us would be working remotely by now, and I think he does not get it wrong. The time of his prediction has to come. It's going to happen sooner or later.
At the time he wrote that, globalization was not exists at all, he was writting all about local labor markets, and even the things he wrote about are becoming true slower than he thought, they will eventually happen.
The pasts years I have worked remotely with remote teammates in a local tech company whose clients was global.
We have developed from Oviedo, Barcelona, Cáceres, Gijón, software that was sold and used in L.A. London, Moscow, Tokyo. But still, we were all Spanish people working in a Spanish company with a global target.
When the scope of the company is global, so must be the team.
